Woven Gold is a choir of refugees and asylum seekers from all over the world – Burma, Congo, Guinea, India, Iran, Kurdistan, Nigeria, Pakistan, Uganda – making us a community choir like no other.

We perform songs and music written together, by individuals, or traditional from people’s own countries, sung in the original language and arranged by the group. We are led by UK musicians who give their time. Some of us have been with Woven Gold for 10 years, some for a few weeks.

The choir is part of the Helen Bamber Foundation.
